xx. The Dawn of the Brotherhood .xx
The Cryptic Brotherhood has been thriving for hundreds of years. Tales of the Old have been passed down generations; the names of the founding cats have never been forgotten, and the stories of the triumphant battles, and trying times have been brought along as well. Peace has become the only expectancy of life; for all the surrounding life forms that used to be the enemies of the Brotherhood have been vanquished. Badgers, foxes, and even snakes are absent, and have been for longer than the lifetimes of the current leaders. So the Tales of the Old are really only strange myths to young ones; the battles with the badgers are only something they can dream of, for they’ve never seen one with their own eyes. Not even humans have crossed the paths of the felines; they know nothing of mankind, nor kittypets. They are the only felines of the area; with only themselves to hunt for, and no serious threats around.
xx. The legend of the start .xx
The legend begins with a tom named Seattle, and a beautiful she-cat named Nizhoni. The two cats are the founders of the Cryptic Brotherhood. They say that the cats came from worlds apart, traveling over seas of sand, and raging waters. Once arriving in the homeland, there were already cats, but the felines were scattered. Through peaceful acts, Seattle and Nizhoni rounded the cats up, and started a colony. For seasons, it thrived, the cats laying down new laws. Soon, the colony was too large for its territory and expanded, east and south, but never west. Seattle and Nizhoni ruled their entire lifetimes, keeping watch over everything they had built up. The Brotherhood Code was established before they died, and so life was carried on after their passing. Not long after, the still living cats reported seeing Ancestors. After many seasons, it was concluded that Seattle and Nizhoni still lived, in the afterlife, and continued to keep watch. The heavenly place where they resided was called Elysian Fields, and all of the dead and faithful that went there became The Ancestors.
To this day, Seattle and Nizhoni are said to guard The Cryptic Brotherhood and its members from their starry post.

Liberty crept quietly through backyard after backyard behind those wrinkly human's houses. She somtimes would twitch unvoluntarily at a sudden noise, for anywhere where humans were made her shudder. Even if they weren't in sight, their scent was all over and it was disturbing to Liberty; it was intimidating. Humans held the power, and everything about them seemed powerful. Even the smell was powerful. Humans could create things with their giant machines, make things look how they wanted them to look, not how it was supposed to be. Unnatural. Getting near them made Liberty shake.
Her usually pleasent pace was slightly jittery and jerky; she just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. It wasn't usual for her to be in this area, but it was the fastest way for her to get to the beach from where she previously was. She needed to sleep, and certainly wanted to be further away from the humans than she was. There'd be no way she could sleep anwhere nenear them. All she could do was be quick and quiet; get out of the Neighboorhood as quickly as possible without being noticed.

Liberty « Result #5 on Jul 5, 2006, 4:58pm »
Name: Liberty Nickname: Livs Gender: Female Age: A little over one years old. Breed: Austrialian Shepard, possibly mixed. Description: Liberty's heritage is prominantly Australian Shepard, but she has a bit of something else in her, maybe some kind of Sighthound. Her fur is a patchy version of blue merle and her eyes are chocolate brown. She is taller then most Australian Shepards with leaner limbs and a longish tail, suggesting her sighthoud routes. Her gate is light; she always moves with a kind of frivolous grace. Behavior: Liberty is kind, gentle, frivolous and even slightly naiive. She's in the 'teenager' age, if you will, and she's still finnishing her knowledge about the way the world works and things of that nature. She doesn't seem to have much of a care in the world. She lives for the day, not for the future. Today is the only thing she know's she's got and that's turly secured, and there's no use wasting it. That's really as deep as she's willing to think about on subjects like that. Deep down, she's really afraid of thinking more. Underneath, there really is a storm of problems that she hasn't taken time to address or acknowledge. She may think about things that she has low self-esteem about, but she never thinks any deeper than that. She doesn't want her life to be more complicated than it already is; she wants an uncomplicated life lived to the full. She tires to be optimistic and kind to others, for she's learned that being optimistic can make the sun shine just a little brighter on a cloudy day and having other dogs around you just snipping at you won't make your mood, or theirs, any better. Liberty is an intravert; she prefers to be solitary or have few accompany her. If she's surrounded by a bunch of dogs she doesn't know, she'll become unconfortable and have to find someone she knows to go relax with. Other dogs is a necessity to her, but she doesn't enjoy too many at once in high amounts. Due to this, Liberty can be somewhat seclusive and isn't very open about her feelings. She is very insecure with herself, and keeps that fact covered up best she can. History: Coming soon..I think...xP

Okay, Lady. I'm going ask. Post at least more then five lines, not to start a nasty quarrel or any thing, but I've noticed after the five minutes you've been here, people havn't replied to threads. So, Iunno, it's probably you, or them if they've lost their muse.
Name: Maxine Nickname: Max Gender: Female Breed: Anatolian Shepherd Age: Four years Personality: Maxine learned things the hard way, so she knows well around all the parts in town, and she knows when tradgic times are coming. Yet just because she does, doesn't make her wise. She's very punk like and not very serious. She always puts herself in danger and makes people think she's crazy, but she wasn't. She just liked to have a good time, but no one really cared. She absolutely hated two leggers, believing they never deserved or should have a chance to be called a living being. She had always had it hard as a pup. She just said, "Rough puphood." When people asked her about her story.
Maxine kept to herself, and she knew well to do so. She knew every where she turned, there could always be danger one step around the corner. She loved fighting, blood shed, many things that included any fun sport was her hobby. She would love to take a slice at a human foot or some thing when ever she had the chance. All she really knew was that she'd never be the loving, kind, adorable puppy that lived down the lane any longer. History: Rain drizzled slightly down the window panes, puddles forming on the black, ashy, asphalt road with the gummy mud that lined the curb. A wail of a police car was heard near by, near the end of the block. A few seconds later, silence, then the wailing again, louder. Then the police car come down chasing an Anatolian Shepherd mix down the lane. But a sausage link was dragging behind her, picking up dirt and clinging for life onto the sausage and the padding of the dog's paws. It wasn't easy to tell that the dog being chased held some fear of being caught by the ruckus.
His eyes gleamed with excitement, then were literally shining with pride as he jumped the fence and the police car whirred to a stop, five feet from ramming into a beautiful house. The dog ran behind a tree and greedily chomped down into the link, nashing with strong jowls as he tore the fleshy meat from the sausage. It was easy to tell that the only thought on his mind was "Delicious". His eyes dimmed, but were still shiny and beaming, seeming to reflect the meat being torn. A little brunette teen ager stood silently as the door, watching him contently.
It was very easy to tell she was slightly frightened, but very excited also. His eyes began to dim, loosing their shine as he looked away. The glass door was sliding open and the brunette gently stepped out when the dog started to noisily smack his lips and tear open the fleshy sausage. More Coming!

Plopping down Flynn fell to the earth in a sort of free fall he found easier than lowering himself. Tassels flared out like wings in the air. His crown rested on his large paws decisevley. It was a show of trust that he was lying down in the presence of a strange fae. She had the strange accent that often accompanied an american dog. "Thank ye lass. May ah be so buld as ta ask ye beed? Ah'm an irish Settah."
