Water is your friend. Water is your friend.
Were the thoughts of the mocking kind of dog, which she
goes by Zoe. Though rude, we all have fears. Well, who knew
a big gutted dog like Zoe would be afraid of something as
simple and harmless as the clear liquid the creatures of the
worlds know as water? Of coarse, she had always kept this
inside, her own pools of churrned milk chocolate not showing
any sign of fear. Her muzzle was dipped in an ivory white,
along with her paws. A scar ran along her spin from a fight
way back when, but we won't go into detail with that. Her
coating was sleek, trimmed down so nothing could get caught
in it's depts. If anyone came up to her right now, panic would
come over her muscles and such, and probally whine. That's
how bad water is to the fearful dog.

Back and forth...back and forth...back and forth... The waves washed upon the shore, the cool liquid receding and leaving behind a small trail of foam. The hot sand hissed slightly as the water came further onto the sandy shore. Sunlight glinted off the rolling waves. A thin shadow fell over the ground as the dog stood there, panting somewhat. Golden pelt fluttered slightly in the breeze. the air was salty here, but clean. And the beach seemed deserted, except.... Black nose twitched, ears pricked forwards, orbs gazing into the distance. Yes, another canine. What luck. Smirking, the golden fae loped towards the other dog, her pawprints being the only thing left in her wake. Yet even that was washed away by the oncoming waves, her scent just a memory.
A cold chuckle fell from her lips, hazel orbs once so gentle now seeming to be masked with a mystery. "Well...Hello there," Though the words by theirself were not very mean, the way in which they were said made them appear more of a threat. No, Nani was not going to attack the poor dog. But she was wary of making friends and a cold approach was often the best, in her eyes at least. Sitting in the shade provided by a lone bush of some sort, muscles remained tense beneath her pelt, ready for action if the need came. Feathered tail laid quietly at her side, still for now. Orbs were bright and alert, switching from the lovely scenery around then back to the other dog.
Nani was not one who was know to be patient and, as the wind, she could be off at any moment. Today was not a rushed day though. So was the life of a loner. No one ruled you, yet you ruled no one. It was a fair exchange in her eyes and she stuck with it. Help yourself, not anyone else. The goal was to surive...and have a good time doing it. So far, she was doing pretty good.

Her ears flooped up slightly as the smoothish sound of another
canine, preferably a female. Personality snapping back, she rolled her eyes in
annoyence. "Hello." she said quite simpley, but a hint of frustration was found in these
words.
"May I help you, in any way?" she spat out, half sacasticly, half true. Ever since she came
to this area, she had promised herself she would not loose her temper. But when
someone just plops up like that, in a moment when your scared, ohh, does that make
her mad.[/color]

"Afraid not."
Words slipped smoothly off her tongue and into the thin air before that. Actually, it was rather humid air. yet what else could one expect in Florida? It was just the beginning of summer, but the heat was already forcing the other animals to retreat in whatever shade they could find. Even the humans had their own defenses from the sun. The most peculiar was the mushroom shaped thing they held over their heads. They also used it in the rain... Well, it was only expected of humans, they were such strange creatures.
Closing her jaws, she glanced to the female. "You from these parts?" Her tone was much more civil right now, her sides changing quickly. She didn't visit the beach that often, being more inland. This was a nice change though, especially since there were less humans roaming about. She would probably end up staying in this area then. Everywhere else was getting so populated. Shaking her head somewhat, ears pricked forward to catch what the fae said in response.
