Feels good, Doesn't it?

The water washed against her paws, shaping the thick white hairs of her feet as the waves washed in and out of shore. She closed her eyes, taking in the salty ocean breeze, before letting out a deep, content breath, and she turned back to Daku. "Very, very good." She said, smiling contently and pleasently. The gulls circled high overhead, calling rythemically to one and other, sevral bobbing up and down on the water, and others eagerly flying about in the sky, their keen eyes peeled for high swimming fish to eat. Harlequin watched them curiously, amazed by the grace of one of the big white birds as it swooped low, feet hit the water, and just as smoothly flew away, a flopping fish in it's talons.
Birds always amazed her for some reason, she didn't know why. She moved farther out into the waves until her feet left sand, and she paddled happily through the water.

<sup>The large black brute smirked as the soft sand trickled in between his dryed pads, replenishing some of the energy that the heat had drawn from them. As Daku looked back to the female, he noticed that she seemed to be moving away from him, swimming apparently...

Ah, swimming....

It had been awhile since he had actually taken the liberty to enjoy a descent swim, so long in fact, that Daku was fearful to wonder if he actually remembered how...

What!? Oh course he knew how to swim, every dog knows how to swim, It would be imposible for this dog to forget such a common skill so easily... Right?

Well, there was only one way to find out...

Hesitantly, the young male leaned forward slighly in the water, silently praying to himself that he would remember... Because after all, Its embarrasing even when you are alone... But with another dog around...

Harlequin continued to paddle through the water contently, her bright white fur clung tightly in the wetness of the salty ocean waves, making her seem not nearly as big, and rather scrawney and weak in her slightly malnourished state- but the Great Pyr wasn't known to eat much, anyways.
Looking back to shore, the young femme watched Daku as he hesitantly neared the water. "What?" she asked curiously. Paddling toward him until her feet touched the soft sand of the shoreline, still up to her chest in water. "It's alright, not like the waves bite." She smiled warmly to him, her tail(which looked rather thin and pointy when all the hair was wat) wagged over her back contently at him, Watching as Daku dipped into the water.
