Name: Harlequin
Gender: Female.
Age: 2.
Breed: Great Pyrenees Mix
Description [or photo]: -in sig-
Behavior: [min. 5 sentences] One look into these eyes, and you know exactly what I do.
What is my name? Where did I come from? Why am I here today? What question do you have, dear?
Look into these eyes. Limpid pools of fawn brown that glint when I am happy, and glaze over when I am sad. When I'm scared, they shine like the
night.
You have to be slender and- not fluffy, to survive? Please. Apparently, nobody ever told this to me.
History: Harlequin yawned, rolling over onto her side on the soft blanket that lined the cardboard box. Her brother and sister curled up against their
mother, but she opened one black lined eye and stared at the sky above. The cirrus clouds stretched high about the crystal blue sky.
A beautiful day. Perfect for exploring.
Without further thought, Harlequin placed her little paws on the flaps of the box, and struggled her back legs over. Tail curled over her back happily,
she padded down the hot Florida sidewalk. Her eyes darting after the cars and trucks- but what was this?
It was bright red, and big, like a train... but it ran down a city street... Oh yes! Her mother had told her about something like this... A... A trolley! That
was it!
She panted in the hot sunlight, and jogged toward the crowded stop. She'd only get on for a minute... So many intresting smells! She lept up the steps,
and found something amazing to her delight.
A small child in a stroller, standing in the isle, a corn dog in hand...
Harlequin eagerly mouthed it away from the childs hand, as the child cried, the mother came to shoo her away. The puppy took the corn dog in her
mouth, and ran toward the steps. But then something unexpected happened.
The bell rang, and she began to move away.
Frightened, and corn dog still in mouth, Harelequin reeled back onto the isle of the trolley, and plopped down on her bottom. Dumbfounded, what was
she to do now?
